Our Foster-to-Adopt Program gives you the opportunity to welcome a cat or kitten (over 12 weeks of age) into your home on a short trial before making the lifelong commitment to adopt. It’s a gentle, low-pressure way to get to know your future furry family member and ensure they’re the perfect fit for your home, lifestyle, and other pets.
The trial runs for two weeks (14 days), with your cat living with you just as they would after adoption. During this time, our team stays in touch to offer support and guidance, and we cover any pre-arranged vet care. If, at the end of the trial, it feels like a match made in meowgic, you can finalise the adoption by paying the adoption fee.
This program is ideal for families who’d like extra peace of mind before committing, or for cats who may need a little more time to adjust to a new environment. It’s all about setting both humans and felines up for success, comfort, and forever love.
Foster to Adopt gives you the time and space to decide if you're ready to commit to caring for a cat for the next 15–20 years.

Finalising Adoption
Foster to Adopt fees are the same as our Adoption fees, the only difference is that payment is made at the end of the two-week trial period, once you’ve decided to finalise the adoption.
Your Adoption fee is all-inclusive, covering, microchipped, desexed, and up to date with F3 vaccinations and worming at the time of adoption.
8 weeks to under 1 year
(Kittens Under 12 weeks are not available for Foster to Adopt Trials)
1 year to 8 years old
8 years +
The trial period runs for 14 days (two weeks). At the end of the trial, you’ll decide whether to proceed with adoption or return the cat to our care within 48 hours.
Payment is only made after the trial, once you’ve decided to adopt. The full adoption fee is due within 2 business days of confirming your decision.
That’s okay, the trial period runs for 14 days, but if at any time you feel the cat isn’t the right match, we can end the trial early. The cat must be returned within 48 hours of the trial ending, and any borrowed equipment should be returned within 72 hours.
Your adoption fee covers desexing, microchipping, F3 vaccinations, and parasite treatments, completed at our nominated vets. Any additional vet work outside this arrangement must be pre-approved or will be at your own cost.
No — all of our cats are adopted to indoor-only homes, or homes with a secure outdoor enclosure/catio. This keeps cats safe, protects local wildlife, and helps new or shy cats settle in more quickly. During the trial, your cat must remain indoors at all times, in line with our safety and welfare guidelines.
